BCGA, Zone 6 visited the North Vancouver Island, School District 85; Port McNeill on the 17th, Port Alice and Port Hardy on the 18th and 19th of November 2009.  The sessions were at Sunset Elementary and Cheslakees Elementary in Port McNeill, Seaview Elementary in Port Alice, Robert Scott Elementary and Eagle View Elementary in Port Hardy. 198 students from grades 3 to 7 were presented the 'Playgrounds to Fairway', SNAG program.  Lead instructor was Jan Best, CPGA Professional,  Mt. Brenton Golf Course assisted by Pat Irwin, BCGA Zone 6 Junior Chair and Rory Bondue, Port Alice, CPGA Professional and ex Zone 6 junior. School District 85 schools are great hosts. Our earnest wish is that the children enjoyed their introduction to golf through SNAG as much as we enjoyed meeting them.
