WELCOME TO THE ZONE 6 HOLE IN ONE CLUB

Please let us know if any of your members score a hole in one this season, and we'll add her to our list of achievers

TUESDAY, AUGUST 20
Ladies Club Championship
MARILYN MCCUSKER scored a Hole in One on 12th hole at  Crown Isle.
We all knew it was a good shot but couldn't see it go in until we checked the hole.

Marilyn previously had her first  at Crown Isle in 2016 on 16th off silver tees -140 yard shot over water and bunker.

  MONDAY, AUGUST 12
JILL MCGLENEN'S lucky shot was on the 118 yard 11th hole at her home course, Cottonwood Golf Club,  during the Solheim Cup event.
SUNDAY, AUGUST 4, 2019
MARY HIGGINS scored her first ever Hole in One on Sunday, August 4th at Morningstar golf course. She was out with her husband for their usual 'Sunday pairing’ when she ‘aced’ hole #4 which was playing 130 yards. She has been taking some golf lessons from the Pro at the course and it appears that her game is ‘taking dead aim’
THURSDAY, AUGUST 15
MARSHA MACKINNON had a hole in one on August 15th on hole # 12 at Crown Isle. No one saw it go in but when they arrived at the green and saw only three balls, they checked the cup and there was her ball - happy, happy!!
Marsha previously had two holes in one: these were at Executive Courses but the second one
was a 153 yard shot over water at Mylora GC in Richmond.
TUESDAY, MAY 21, 2019
Today saw ISHBEL MUCKLOW of Morningstar golf course achieve her 4th career Hole in One on hole #17. This hole was playing 124 yards and Ishbel was still adjusting to her new set of clubs when she pulled off this feat! Ishbel’s shot was witnessed by three other ladies in her group and it was done on Ladies’ Day....nice job!

  THURSDAY, AUGUST 1, 2019
MAY MITCHELL
Hole
#7,  138 yards...6 hybrid.  My third hole in one, second one at Crown Isle.

CONGRATULATIONS on the first hole in one of the 2019 season!

SUNDAY, APRIL 7, 2019

CAROL POPP of Morningstar Golf Club aced her first hole in one after 50 years of playing golf. She scored it on hole #8 par 3, at Morningstar today; it was playing 127 yards with a breeze to add to the challenge. Witnessing this momentous achievement was Teresa  Dowell (in the picture, right side) and Susan Brown (behind the camera). Needless to say, Carol was a very happy lady.

APRIL 25, 2019
KAREN KLOSKE
of March Meadows shot her first hole in one on number 7, 119 yards with her 8 iron on April 25 2019. It was a low trajectory pull that bounced off the sand trap ridge to roll to the hole. The hole in one wasn’t visible from the tee as the ball was only 1/3 in the hole, and it looked like it was just close. It wasn’t until her Ladies Day group of Sam Jones, Sylvia Lingren, and Corinne Floyd got closer to the hole that they realized that the ball was actually in the cup.  No one had any birdie juice available, but Jason and Laura Chanasyk, the owners of March Meadows bought all the ladies a drink in the club house to celebrate!
