Zone 6 Four Ball Stroke Play (Two Ball Best Ball)
This is an 18-hole stroke competition played under the rules
of golf by two partners. A qualification round Must
be played on the same day, time and condition. A current
signed RCGA card must be presented. Handicap differential
must span 8 or less between partners.
Prior to start of play, your own personal scorecard should
be marked according to current handicap, to determine where
strokes are appropriate. Using the handicap you receive at
registration, put dots on your scorecard to indicate where
you receive strokes. DO NOT PUT DOTS OR 'X's ON THE
OFFICIAL CARD YOU HAND IN.
Exchange cards with the other twosomes in your group- but
keep your own score (the card with the dots), as a check
before signing and turning the official score card in.
Partners best ball gross. You must putt out if your ball is
the one used. If you cannot help your partner, pick up to
expedite play.
MARK ONLY THE GROSS SCORES on your
scorecard and PUT ONLY THE BEST GROSS SCORE
TO BE USED ON THE SCORE CARD, AS INDICATED ON YOUR OFFICIAL
CARD. Failure to follow instructions can result in
disqualification. (31-4)
In four-ball play two competitors play as partners, each
playing their own ball. The LOWEST GROSS SCORE
of the partners is the score for the hole. If one partner
fails to complete the play of the hole, there is no penalty.
Please refer to Four Ball Stroke Play in the Rules of
Golf.Rule 31 for more information. |
