Message from your Chair
Welcome to the Zone 6 website!
The Zone 6 Committee, consisting of people with diverse
experiences and backgrounds, is focused on Zone 6 golfers from
Honeymoon Bay to Port Hardy in furthering the game of golf.
This includes golfers of all ages and skill levels.

This sport can be
serious, especially during tournaments of excellence, but just
as importantly we need to have fun. Your committee is here to
provide a service in developing and supporting our premiere
golfers that represent us at the provincial level and to
provide support for the average golfer who makes up the
majority of the golfers.

The
Zone 6 Committee is made up of long time golfers who love the
game and want to give back.
The Committee continues to
look at and tackle issues facing our game. The prime issue is
the slow decline in the number of golfers. We need to make
golf sustainable and that means trying to promote and grow the
game.
We will continue to provide workshops and seminars addressing rules and
golf etiquette, to the opportunity to use British Columbia Golf rules officials at
club course events,
to the Zone 6 Championships and the Zone 6 Club Challenge. We are here to listen and to work with you.
