Open to all players. Seniors must be aged 50 or older by August 30, 2023 and are eligible in both Senior and Amateur categories. Team players will not play in the same foursome, but will play with competitors of a similar handicap.
Senior and Amateur winners and runners up are expected to represent the Zone at Provincial championships.

Seniors must be aged 50 or older by August 30, 2023, Super Seniors must be aged 60 or older, Super Super Seniors 70 or older
Maximum 60 players: Players who were in the top 10 of the senior championship from the prior year's championship, top 3 in the super-senior women's or Stableford Championships or have a verifiable handicap index of 18.0 or less will be automatically accepted into the field upon receipt of entry up until May 14th. At that time, all entries which may have been wait-listed will be reviewed and processed based on handicap factor. If the event is not fully subscribed, registration will continue.

Players who made the cut in the prior year's championship and players with a verifiable handicap index of 8.0 or less will be automatically accepted into the championship upon receipt of entry up until 1 month prior to the start date of the event.

After that date all other entries will be reviewed and accepted into the championship based on lowest handicap factor. Maximum handicap index 18.0. Positions for players representing their Zones will be held for an additional 2 weeks.

Dietary

1. Low Gross and Runner up in both categories (Amateur and Senior) will be rewarded with chits, plus a trophy for the Low Gross Senior and Low Gross Amateur. Winners are expected to represent Zone 6 at the Provincials.

2. Travel assistance will be provided to the winners and runners up in the Amateur and Senior categories of this event for those who attend the Provincials.

3. A Senior (born on or before  August 30, 1973) may enter and win in both Amateur and Senior categories

4. The low gross and runner up in the Amateur/Senior may not win the flighted categories.

5. Prizes will be awarded to one third of the field.

6. Caddies are permitted (Executive Meeting, August 27, 2021); only for the Amateur/Senior: no other Zone tournaments.

7. Each club may enter one team of up to four players for the team Net prize. Prizes will be awarded to the teams with the lowest combined net scores of all four players. Team players may also win as individuals in their handicap division. Team players will not necessarily play in the same foursome.

No refunds after the draw has been done, but substitutions accepted for team play.

Please pay at Pro Shop $22 per seat

Carts must be reserved with entry (not at the Pro Shop), but paid for at the pro shop on the day. When preparing the draw, every effort will be made to ensure players sharing carts are close to their handicap group. Any player who wishes to ensure play within their handicap group may request their own cart at their own expense, subject to the availability of carts.

Please advise us of any dietary concerns.

Cancellation If the course is deemed unplayable by the Tournament Committee (superintendent or other person responsible at the host club and T and T) players who have completed at least nine holes will be eligible for prizes based on scores submitted. If fewer than nine holes are played, prizes will be awarded by random draw after lunch, and you must be present to win.
